³⁶ Believe in the light while you have the light, so that you may become children of light.”^(A) When he had finished speaking, Jesus left and hid himself from them.^(B)

⁴ They are to join you and be responsible for the care of the tent of meeting—all the work at the tent—and no one else may come near where you are.^(A)

⁸ “‘But I will spare some, for some of you will escape^(A) the sword when you are scattered among the lands and nations.^(B)

¹⁴ But make up your mind not to worry beforehand how you will defend yourselves.^(A)

¹³ Therefore let us stop passing judgment^(A) on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister.^(B)
